In the cross-region filing service system, the court that the parties choose to seek filing service nearby is the cooperation court, and the court that has jurisdiction over the case is the jurisdiction court.
Following on August 19, Dalian Maritime Court, as a cooperation court, and Ningbo Maritime Court realized Liaoning's first cross-province and cross-region case filing, and on August 23, Dalian Maritime Court, as a jurisdiction court, joined hands with Shanghai Maritime Court to realize cross-region case filing again.
At 14: 46, the cross-region filing judge of Dalian Maritime Court received the cross-region filing application pushed by Shanghai Maritime Court on the working platform. The filing judge received the prosecution document and reviewed it immediately. After confirming that the case was under the jurisdiction of Dalian MaritimeCourt, the filing judge promptly improved the relevant information and formally filed the case. Relevant electronic legal documents such as “Notice of Accepting Cases”, “Notice of Paying Legal Fees” and “Receipt”automatically generated by the system were immediately sent to Shanghai Maritime Court through the mobile micro-court platform.
At 14: 59, Shanghai Maritime Court printed out the electronic legal documents from the mobile micro-court platform and handed them over to the parties on the spot. The whole journey lasted 13 minutes.
General secretary Xi Jinping has repeatedly stressed,“The people’s yearning for a better life is our goal.” The Supreme People’s Court’s “Notice on Promoting Cross-region Filing Service for Maritime Court Trials” and Liaoning High People’s Court’s “Notice on High Standards for Cross-regional Work” and other documents have repeatedly emphasized and pinpointed the importance and direction of cross-regional filing work.
Dalian Maritime Court will continue to thoroughly implement the spirit of the national forum of senior court presidents, further strengthen the sense of responsibility and mission in practicing the purpose of justice for the people, and on the basis of consolidating the original cross-region filing results, push forward the cross-region filing process at full speed, contributing to the early realization of the goal of “100% opening rate of online filing and 100% coverage rate of cross-region filing courts”.
