The enforcement police officers had gone to the island many times but to find the person subjected to execution in vain, so that the case was stuck.
When hearing that the person subjected to execution was at home, the judge immediately organized an enforcement team including the driver, police officers and clerks, set off in no time, drove first, then took a boat, raced against bad weather, and finally arrived at the Dachangshan Island of Changhai County before the suspension of shipping service on the evening of the 21st, November, 2019.
On the early morning of the 22nd, November, 2019, the enforcement police officers, regardless of long-distance fatigue, blocked the person subjected to execution at his apartment.
The person subjected to execution and his wife took any chance to delay the enforcement. In order to secure the enforcement, the two bailiffs wanted to take the person subjected to execution away. At this time, his wife stepped forward to stop, and on several occasions pretended to negotiate with the applicant for reconciliation, but was extremely critical on the conditions of the settlement. Her intention was that no one could be able to leave the island if the wind began to blow hard, so that no detention measures could be taken against the person subjected to execution. The judge patiently conducted mediation between the two parties, enlightening them with reasons and emotions. Still, the couple did not cooperate, so the judge decided to take the person subjected to execution for detention.
Only at this moment did the person subjected to execution and his wife show their sincerity in reconciliation, and promise not to challenge judicial authority or evade legal responsibility. With the help of several relatives, the person subjected to execution finally raised the first-phase execution money and paid the applicant on the spot. The applicant was grateful and continuously thanked the judge for his efficiency and ability in handling the case.
The case settlement, despite the tortuous process and inconvenient journey, has achieved good social results through efforts.
