On the morning of December 24, 2020, the opening ceremony of Dalian Public legal Service Centers legal aid workstation in Dalian Maritime Court was held in the Court's Litigation Service Center. Vice president Chang Zhongyan, also member of the Party group of the Court, and deputy director Xu Ying, also member of the Party group of Dalian Judicial Bureau, jointly unveiled the workstation.
In order to further improve the mechanism of "linkage dispute settlement before litigation" with maritime characteristics and maximize the realization of "one-stop multi-factor dispute resolution", Dalian Maritime Court and Dalian Judicial Bureau set up the legal aid workstation in the Court. On the basis of the original full-time people's mediator, the city public legal service center sends full-time lawyers to the Court, cooperate with the mediation team and the speedy trial team to offer the masses legal advice, help the people in financial difficulties apply for legal aid and provide other types of public legal services.
The establishment of workstation broadens the access of people in financial difficulties to legal aid in maritime litigation, effectively assists them to handle all kinds of litigation matters and protects their rights and interests, so as to constitute the one-stop multi-factor dispute resolution process without blind spots.
Since the legal aid lawyers was stationed in December 1,2020, the Court has assisted the masses a total of more than 20 person times in handling all kinds of litigation matters, which was widely praised.
The Court has been working hard to build a "one-stop multi-factor dispute resolution" system, enrich the "one-stop multi-factor dispute resolution" force and innovate the "convenient, favorable and beneficial to the people" initiatives.
